StarkWare launching a token

Three Arrows Capital, the firm that imploded itself and crypto shared an email where the founder hinted at incoming StarkWare tokens. StarkWare is an Ethereum scaling solution that has 2 main chains called StarkEx and StarkNet. Sounds like something out of the Marvel comics universe.

Usually we are not fans of leaked secrets but this is one we can get behind. StarkWare officially confirmed: β€œThe token will allow supporters of the community that perform work that contributed to the success of the ecosystem to play a role in the governance of that ecosystem."

Why does this matter?

  • Governance - The token will be used for the StarkNet blockchain.

  • Next year in 2023 users can stake to help performance and security.

  • The token will replace ETH for transactions fees

  • Airdrops - However the team said that it won't happen until next year.
